Your internet connection speed:

What do these internet speed results mean?

  • Download speed: The rate at which data is transferred from the internet (the test server) to your device, measured in megabits per second (Mbit/s). It determines how quickly web pages, videos and files load.
  • Upload speed: The rate at which data is transferred from your device to the internet (the test server), measured in Mbit/s. It affects how quickly video calls, attachments and files are sent.
  • Ping (response time / latency): The time in milliseconds (ms) for requests to travel from your device to the server and back. The smaller this number, the faster real-time applications and online games respond.
  • Jitter (latency variation): How unstable the delay is between successive data transfers, measured in ms. The smaller it is, the steadier and more uninterrupted the connection.
